The up and coming areas near Larnaca airport and Kiti village have a good infrastructure aswell as a good selection of shops , restaurants , and tourist attractions. They also retain a lot of their traditional character unlike some other areas of Cyprus.

Larnaca Marina upgrade to go ahead

The long awaited Larnaca Marina upgrade is due to start in 2015. The old oil and gas storage facilities/refineries are due to be relocated to Vasilikos on the way to Limassol.

The old town of Larnaca has also seen the waterfront promenade area developed on the way to Mackenzy beach area and Larnaca airport. This makes it a great time to buy a property, as prices have dropped considerably now, and the exchange rate is improving for buyers outside the Euro area - as the Euro has started to devalue as of late.
